The Facility

The large main warehouse supports the Academy's model studio and the studio of Tim Rees.  The ceilings are 16 feet high, and the space is evenly lit and air conditioned.  Academy students will have space to store some supplies and projects in progress. The total space is over 1400 square feet.

The cast room, dedicated to the study of plaster casts and still life, offer students a dedicated working space to leave their subjects set up over the course of multi week projects.  Upon completion, the walls of the room will be painted dark, and lights fixed directly over the students' work stations.

The apprentices have an ajoining warehouse, equal in size to that of the Academy.  The typical apprentice space is 200+ square feet, and the cast hall is replaced with a storage room for the materials of the apprentices.
